Capable of 3k?

How are you planning on "dialing them down". I don't get it.

by setting them with a DMM to match the voltage for 2.5 or 3k. for example to get 3k @ 2ohms, you would to set the amps gain to show 77.5v on a DMM, of course this isnt the most accurate way but i dont have a fluke clamp meter so yea this is the next best way.

so yea, i guess ill make my decison soon. to me almost the best bet is to just grab another 2k, because i wont have to worry about selling the one i have now lol. im pretty sure they will about 3k clean on good electrical and also im gonna see 3k anyway due to rise and its on music as well
