cant stand my indash!!

ok so i had a 8180 dual indash screen i picked up from best buy through my sis discount and only payed like 300 for it so i was like ight good deal ill take it. but i had many problems with it like cd not goin in and frezzing and no out put to sub. so i took it in for the last time and got the upgrade 8183 for 50 bucks more. thought that it would be better and not have problems.. guess not. when i turn it on some times its real dark and takes a while for the screen to get bright. doesnt like to accpet MP3s for some reason. and the screen shifts a lil bit just enough to notice. so im pissed FCUK dual. so my sis said i can take it in and do a even trade for H/U there but i d k what to trade for... should i just trade + cash for the baller a$$ pioneer double Din? or should i get the alpine IDA-X001? or a diff good H/U there...

You can't skimp out on an in-dash screen...

Not ragging on you personally, but I used to laugh at the ghetto ballers that would come into the shop with a no-name in-dash and think they were the shit.

Spend the extra cash, and look for something from Alpine/Pioneer/Clarion/etc.

well i want to have a touch screen indash because i like to have 100 songs on a MP3 and be able to go though the cd in a second and find a song. so i want another screen. well soo ill have a budget but like 300 bucks plus this unit. i can trade this in tobest buy and them give me any other unit but if the unit i want is more than the Dual then i have to pay the difference.

Look into the Kenwood 617DVD. It's a little more then your budget ($720 on their website), but it'll be worth the upgrade.

yea i seen that one but i wasn't impressed by it when i seen it at best buy the screen comes out diff then the others and the overall look of it is like an old indash. it looks like they made it 3 years ago.

Kenwood's in-dash units do come out rather orthodox...they are pretty good units, though. Haven't used any newer models, however.
