I'm looking to upgrade from my 2 memphis 12"s. I have a pg 600.1(benched at 819.1) im lookin for somthing that it can power well. louder the better sq rly don't matter too much...size & space are no problem either.

4 Assassin 10s would do the trick and sound good to boot (depending on tuning). What Memphis subs do you have now?

If you wanna keep the 12's i have an amp for sale that makes memphis subs sing (M-Class subs, that is).

There have been quite a few people, myself included ( I have another setup from the one in my sig that is 4 Assassin 8s) that have been very impressed with these cheap little subs. I can pretty much guarantee the 4 10s would out perform your current setup. I don't mean that as a negative toward Memphis gear either...I had an M3 12 before my Avalanche and it was an outstanding sub.

Yeah im keeping my mind open I been looking into somthing like a kicker 15 l5 or l7 but dont know how wlel they would do with 800rms. I was thinking of getting a alpine type-r 15 or 2 12s....any 1 know what it might hit with 800watts rms?

itll hit like poo. they are more power hungry than that. You could feed a single R 15 like that though.

I was doin a good bit of research on the 15" type-r...it will be in a 4runner not sure size to make box yet. im hoping to get at least 135-140ish with 1 i dont know tho. an what should i run it on 1, 2, or 4 ohm...my amps 1, 2, 3, and 4 ohm stable.

Go with a 15.

You are limited on amplifier power, it doesn't make sense to throw extra voice coils in there and further reduce efficiency.

You need to go with something larger, I assure you. If you can fit it, two ported 15's would rock. It's going to be difficult outperforming two 12's on 800 watts though.

Maybe in a few months ill add another 15 and amp but im gona use this for a daily driver..my cargo area is 40 or so cubic feet so how ever many I can fit in there I will later on. right now just want somthing that pounds pretty hard with this amp.

You better be at 140 with those 2 12's lol.I'm doing close to 142 in a pure daily driving set-up with 1 12" tc9

Not sure what im hitting lol...not many people around here are into systems that much...every year I go to this car show that has a small system comp. maybe 20 ppl compete in it. but i have never been in a car that hits 140...i dont know what would be better going my amp with the 15" type-r or having 4 memphis m class 12s. only thing that gets me is i just got 1 of my subs back from memphis(i blew it) and now i got one 05 model(silver/chrome look) and a 06 model(carbon fiber look) so i dont know what to do lol. like i said i can use as much room as my 4runner can handle dont use the back space for anything else...got a pickup truck if i need to haul anything.
