Can't decide, Cadence or Fosgate

I have 2 DVC JBL subs that need 500 watts. I am looking at the Cadence TXA-3002 and Fosgate P450.2. The Cadence will do 300x2 (probably overrated) and the Fogate will do 225x2 (probably underrated). I can get the Cadence new with a 2 year warranty for $135, and the Fosgate would be somewhere around $180 with a 1 year warranty. I know the Fosgate is better equipment, but which would be best for the money (tight budget)? Thanks.

You may want to look for a stronger amp that will allow you room to upgrade in the future. Figure out what your maximum budget is, then start shopping. Never hurts to have more power on tap than is needed, to allow upgrading to be an option.

It would be hard to choose either of those amps you have listed, as neither of them will give you 250x2 without maxing out the amps output.

what final ohm load do you need 600 watts at look for a 1 ohm 600-800 watter.

with 250 you can get the AQ 1200 watt amp shipped.

I am actually searching for a friend, who is depending on me to get this setup right. However, I am also new to car audio, so not much help. Budget is preferably under $175, $200 max. The subs are 4 ohm DVC, so I need 500 watts at either 1 or 4 ohms. Only other amp I have found that will fit and allow room to upgrade (which I doubt will happen) is the Kenwood KAC-9103D. 500x1 at 4 ohm, 900x1 at 2 ohm, and it is suppose to be 1 ohm stable as well, although I haven't found the power rating at 1 ohm. It would be around $180, which is in the budget. What do you think? Thanks a lot.

if money isn't an issue, fosgate. but the orion is a good deal too.
