both are almost the exact same price so that doesnt factor in at all..

will be going ported with dimensions

height=16.5 in

length=35 in

depth=16 in

amp to power them: hifonics 1208d.. whichever sub i get will be dvc 4ohm and wired at 2 ohms for 900w rms being sent to the sub.

which would be the better choice?

SQ on the SDC's I heard was fine, although the guy mostly listens to rap, but I played some rock/metal on them also.

i prefer how my AQ's sound on rock compared to my old setup which was a 15" fi Q in a 4ft^3 box tuned to 32hz. Box for AQs in sig...
