Cannot find a ~1.8cu ft sealed enclosure for a 12" sub..

Grab some polyfill at Walmart for $3 for a 16 ounce bag, some liquid nails to reseal the corners, and your set.

General consensus is that ported prefabs are bad due to the unknown tuning or very high tuning. Sealed boxes are perfectly fine with the exception of the factory seal job.

do what dragon says...polyfill will do work for u just re seal the inside of the box

I actually just grabbed a 1.5cu ft one on eBay. I'll hit Wal-Mart when it gets here and fill 'er up and reseal. Thanks

Been on here for years but never post. I've never made it to STL. I'd like to some year. I've got lots of Streetfighters friends out there

Depends on the sub. Thats right about what my Evo calls for sealed and its a 10".

It sounded big to me too, but Kicker recommends 1.8 as the minimum for a sealed box

EDIT; The Kicker site was acting funny and went down for about 30 minutes. Now that it's back it's showing the minimum sealed size is 1cu ft. Grrr

Alright, just got the box. Redid all the seals inside. Filled it with polyfill. Mounted the sub.. Put it back in the car...... Still not happy with it.. Maybe I need a better sub or a 15...
