Cannot edit posts

I am no longer able to edit posts on the first page of a thread I started. I started uploading pics then realized I ran out of space. Now I have the pics hosted on a site and I can't go back and exchange my uploads for links or edit the post at all. Is there a reason or something I'm missing? I made sure I was logged in and I can still change other posts in the thread.

I think after a certain amount of time you can't edit your post anymore.

like 5 days to a week you can edit ur posts then after the post has been around for that length of time its un-editable.

I checked it out. A post on 9/19 is not editable, and one on 9/21 is. Now all my up load space is locked. Fuckn gay.

You are not understanding. I did post pics but I uploaded them from my pc. I didn't know the posts would lock. Well I ran out of upload space so I went and put my pics on a hosting site, picasa, and now I link to them. I went back to remove my uploaded pics and replace with the hosted links and my posts were locked. So I did post pics when I made the thread smart a ss, my original question was about editing the posts.
