Can you see how much voltage your putting out to your amp?

well my dealer says to have bass boost turned off when using a sub amp cause it causes problems and i was told the the voltage is at max right before i hit max volume or distortion/clipping.

Set the gain correctly and the exact voltage on the RCAs is totally irrelevant.
BTW, most HUs will only put out the rated voltage with the bass boost maxed and the output clipping heavily.

i think your mis understanding my question ok i run zapco c2k amps and with the SymbiLink sldin-t.f its a line driver and a rca to SymbiLink converter for balanced signal well i have a 2 volt hu and when i use this sldin-t.f i can adjust the setting to give me up to 8 volts. So my question is how can i see if i am getting my full 8 volts?
