Can you piggyback a REM?

I want to add a question here, Does the voltage on the Remote wire matter, in regards of the sound performance of the amplifier?Thank you.
I don't think so, all the remote does is tells the amp to turn on. Voltage shouldn't, in theory, have any effect on the performance of the amplifier, other than voltage dipping low enough that the amp turns off.

OP, give it a shot, it should work. If you have issues just install a relay, nothing hard about it

Trying not to thread jack here, but instead of jumping the remote of one amp to another, would it be okay to tap into the remote at the rear of the head unit and use the same one for another amplifier from there? I'd assume it'd be the same concept. I just don't want to jump directly from my sub amp to my 4chan because my sub amp is on a switch, and I don't want my speakers to turn off when I kill my sub amp.

If you were to jump it anywhere before the switch, yes, the 4 channel amp won't turn off when you turn the sub amp off

Hell, you could even connect it right on the switch itself if you didn't want to cut the wire for some reason.

Too much draw on the remote can blow a fuse or the headunit. That's why more than 2 amps I recommend a relay.
Please explain this one. Most that will happen is it will not have enough output to power up all the amps hooked to it. I've run 3-4 amps off a single REM wire numerous times.

Anything over that then I use a relay....
