best buy and real car audio for a serious listener is a joke. i worked there amongst other places and i must say the misinformed is 8 out of 10 times is the best buy staff. im not going to ridicul anyone working there but 95% of these people have a very limited background in car audio. it is like calling a cook at mcdonalds a chef......

barely anyone there knows what theyre talking about (minus maybe the geek squad, cuz its not hard to find people who know about computers). my friend applied for a job at BB and they put him in home audio...he doesnt know one thing about it. he told me he makes things up when customers ask him questions.

actually, I might buy my next pair of home floorstanders from BB...Athena AS-F2's...BB's got one of the better prices on them. I couldn't give a flying **** if the salesman knows what they are or not.

most people dont have the luxury of research or passion for these things as u do. then they make the mistake of assuming the people at BB know wth theyre doing (not to say all of em dont).

F* best buy car audio. RF is pretty good..some HUs are good..the rest is mostly shit.
