can u wirer a pair of dual 4 ohm subs to 2 ohms??

I have a pair of idmax 12s both are dual 4 ohms.. I'm going to be pushing them with a xtant 1001x.. my question is, is there any way I can hook them up to the amp and have a 2 ohm load. I know I can wire them to 1ohm and the amp is stable at 1 ohm but id rather run the amp at 2 ohms.
