im thinking about either the infinity kappa 60.9cs or the alpine spr-17s components and i have a 2 channel amp that does 150x2 at 4ohms. can they handle this power? since its a 2 channel amp will each mid and tweet share the 150 watts? so all 4 speakers will get 75 watts basically?

NO .... each speaker will receive the 150 watts IN IT'S FREQ RANGE when using a passive crossover. Two things to remember though, first off is the amp will rarely if ever be putting out full power unless you like listening to test tones at full power all day. Second is the passive will sap off some of the power, maybe 10-15%. If you have the gains set right you will not have any problems.

yes give them the power. They won't blow as long as your careful with your gains.

im gonna go with the alpines and see how they work out with 150 watts for a while. i can always upgrade later if i dont like them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.
