Can the cover on a IA 20.1 be flipped around?

Meaning, if i had 2 20.1's , could i remove the cover on one and flip it around so that the power terminals were on opposite sides from the other amp? The reason is that i want to mount 2 amps on one board with the power terminals both in the middle like in the following picture...i actually took the cover off of one of my Autoteks and flipped it 180 degrees so all the wiring met in the middle

i see what ur saying but its not just flipping the case u would have to flip the whole board around im not really sure tho

no, i just flipped the case, then turned the amp basically upside-down as compared to the other amp.

but i thought the board on the 20.1 was connected to the heat sink and it just has a little plate on the bottom

you might be able to just flip the board that would be something you would have to check out on ur own i dont own a 20.1

From the pictures on amp guts it appears that the board is connected so you couldn't just flip it over but I could be wrong.

Im sure you could get new decals and flip it or is there a badge on it?

Yeah, it has a flat bottom cover, and the board is secured to the top (heatsink). You'd basically have to take off the back cover, remove the side panels, remove the board and rotate it 180 degrees, then screw the side panels on to the opposite sides, then replace the bottom plate. All completely possible and probably not too difficult, but it might void the warranty. Maybe call up IA and ask if they can do it for you so that the warranty stays valid.
