Can RF Punch HX2 handle a KX1200.1

I have a few pennies to spend and see some folx unloading kx1200.1's. I already have one and am thinking about another for the 12's...

I have two RF Punch HX2's in a slot ported box (~2.0 cubic feet) and I am wondering if I am better off to grab another kx1200.1 to drive one HX2 (12") and grab another 1200.1 to run the second..

Or should I keep them wired the way they are (I believe they are wired down to 1 ohm, the posts on the subs are wired together and then the wires on the box are wired together to the amp...

Just trying to kick it up a notch..

isnt the max rms on the hx2 about 500 each ?

I highly doubt if one hx2 can handle the 1400 watts that kx is putting out . to me it seems a little steep for even two . maybe im wrong ?

My buddys zr360 was wanging the hell out of his hx2, I'd say hook a kx1200 up to the both of them and it will be crazy loud(if your subs are dual 4. By a 2 cube box, you mean 2 cubes per sub, right?

those subs are 500/1000 but i think 800 each is a bit much. or why dont you buy the other kx1200 and buy both of my hx2's and have 4 12's on 2 kx1200's...

dude, how big would that box have to be for four twelves, I think 8 cubic feet, what are estimated dimensions on that??

And the old Hx2's can take more than there share of power but in your situation I would stick with the 1200.1

That is a perfect amount of power for them. You will probably not notice a gain if you were to put one on each sub.

well considering I have 1100 watts rms going to my 1 punch hx2 15 I think it will. Its also ported tuned to about 35 hz. Been playing strong for a while.

Those woofers can taek some serious abuse. Dont go crazy with the gain for daily, but it can definitly take it for burping.
