Ok, the Mayweather/De La Hoya fight still holds the record for most PPVs sold in history. This is essentially a bigger fight so I don't see why it won't break that record. No MMA event has even come close to sniffing a big time boxing PPV. Heck it would take 4 UFCs to equal the Hatton v/s Mayweather fight. Doubt all you want, boxing still makes more money than MMA. Especially when Mayweather is on the card. They don't call him Money Mayweather for nothing.

I didn't even blink when I read it because it's obvious. Any decent boxing match makes many times more than any MMA match. For this, which will, and you can quote this post if you want, which will be the richest fight in all of history, I wouldn't even be in the least surprised if 10-15 MMA PPV fights don't add up to be more.

i simply said ten ufc ppvs wont be beat by 1 boxing IMO, but could very well be wrong

I like mma, but when a great boxing match is happening I rather watch that then any mma fight, unless its nothing but great fights back to back on mma then maybe.

I would love to see pac man whoop mayweather. That will not be the case here, mayweather is a pure boxer. Cotto outboxed pacman the first three rounds of their fight. Floyd will do it for 12 rounds. I'm still rooting for pacman though.

Cotto may have just barely won the first round but Pacman knocked him on his *** in back 2 back rounds starting in the 2nd. The fight went downhill from the 2nd onward for Cotto. Even in the first it was still a close fight and Manny even said after the fight that he wanted Cotto to hit him with his best to see what his "power" was all about.

X2 I think most MMA fights are boring as shit... The Forrest vs Tito 1 fight was an exception but most of all the big MMA fights this year have been duds.

Go back and watch Pacman v Cotto now that was an entertaining fight.
