I wanna know too.... because I have to set my gains higher [to get it to thump] then another setup thats pretty much the same.... Could CRA cause shitty bass? I have the Knu ones... they seem pretty good

Most problems in car audio is from ground loops. Higher gains will reduce signal to noise ratio of an amplifier so if you can get higher voltage into your amp's preamp section to lower your gain, you should notice an increased sound quality
