Can I use power sports batteries?

My dad is a rep for a company that sells batteries for power sports applications, specifically in the case I am wondering about, side by side UTV batteries (like a mule or RZR) I can get these decent size batteries for very very cheap. If I had a bank of say 8 of them, would that still be okay? They are 30 amp hour each. 12v
