Found this POS amp from my first system a few years back, it was DOA when i got it (came with subs) didnt care enuff to chunk it. Anyways, looks pretty pitiful, has like 8g inputs for power/ground, 1x 20 amp fuse. But on to the topic..

How hard would it be to make this into a little project and beef up the internals to make it put out some decent wattage...my guess is it barely does 200 watts right now if that, if I culd get it up to 500 watts thatd be pretty nice, its a mono. Ill get some gut shots up later if that matters lmao.

Heres the amp ****..or should i say beastiality. As you can see theres not much goin on in there.

Not worth it, with how cheap quality amps are.
Yah, I was only gonna do it if I culd find some place sellin parts to beef the guts up a little for very cheap, just a small project for shits n giggles. Nothin special about the outside? Dont feel like takin more pics, it has a +/- speaker terminal, 8g ground and power inputs, remote, 1x 20 amp fuse, low input/output rca connections, gain, bass boost, LPF/HPF and LPF/HPF knobs.

Now that I think about it, i was gonna post pics up but I have a junky little 12, anyways, me and my friends got bored so we duct taped the 12 into a carboard box then covered the whole thing with body filler, for what it is, sounds pretty good so imma use it as a sub for my pc, maybe use this amp if i can get it to work.

you cant really just swap out mosfets and transistors and hope for more wattage. It just doesn't really work like that. You might make the amp a little more reliable/durable by using better quality/more updated parts but thats about it.On the other hand you could make things worse. It is way more labor intensive to get more power out of an amp. It would be much easier and cheaper to just buy something else.

what about this amp doesn't work?does it just pop fuses at turn on?or maybe blow the fuse when power is applied?or just nothing at all?
Tested it today, just doesn't power on, and i tested my remote lead and power/ground and there all good, so amp just poop. the fuse isnt blown.
