Can I have 2 dual 4 ohm subs and wire them down to a 1 ohm

I have 2 15" cvr's dual 4 ohms, don't know if I can wire them down to 1 ohm, so I can find an amp easier

I find this one easy to understand. Yes 2 dual fours can go down to one ohm wired in parallel.

2 DVC drivers with Voice Coils in Parallel / Parallel

Connecting the voice coils of each driver in parallel (+ to +' date=' - to -) and the drivers themselves in parallel (+ to +, etc.) will result in the following impedances:

Dual-6 Ohm Subwoofers: 1.5 Ohms

[b']Dual-4 Ohm Subwoofers: 1 Ohm[/b]

Dual-2 Ohm Subwoofers: 0.5 Ohm

Dual-1.5 Ohm Subwoofer: 0.38 Ohms

2 D4 wired to 1 ohm is correct

connect all the positives together with each other.... and then wire all the negatives together.... the end
