Can i ground amps to rear battery?

They don't HAVE to be grounded in the same place but it's generally advisable to avoid ground loop issues. Yes you can ground them to the rear battery, that's fine as long as the rear battery is connected to the chassis/front battery -/alternator case (any of those). There's really no max length for grounds either, it depends on the wire gauge, it's generally desirable to keep them as short as possible to minimize losses.
