Can i change how my box is ported?

right now i have a ported box in a single cab truck. The port fires toward the passenger side wall. The port is tuned to 30 hz...

My question is two fold...

1) Can i seal up that port with mdf, and install aeroports on the top of the box?

2) If i can indeed install those ports, it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and change the tuning of the box to my liking, would it?

That would work...and if you make that MDF piece able to be taken in and out...you then can make any tuning and port setup you want..

30 hz is pretty low for my kinda music...maybe up to 36 or 38?

yea...around 35 is good for alot of music...i usually dont go higher though..
