Can I amp my "Powered" sub?

I just got a powered sub from a friend. Its a Rockford Fosgate RFT3101A. Its an enclosure with a built in amp and a 10" Punch HE subwoofer. The sub is capable of 200watts RMS. But the built in amp only goes to 100watts RMS. Can I somehow give it 100watts more RMS to extract the full 200 out of this sub?...without changing the amp inside or pulling the sub out? Maybe I can pre-amp it with the headunit or something, I don't know. Just and idea I'm throwing around. Thanks in advance. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
