I've personally put a kicker 2500 on a q 15d1, when I was doing alot of the proto testing, it took it fine. If you know what the limits of a sub are, then you are fine, all you have to do is listen, the sub will tell you when enough is enough. A clean 1600 RMS will be fine for that sub, just keep it clean. With that said though, you dont have to run 1600 to it, but it can take it.
