Well i got my germs installed in the front and some coaxials in the rear of my Silverado.

All of it is running off of my DLS CA41 amp that is 4x70, my germs aren't loud enough cause they arent getting near enough power so i was going to bi-amp them today but i can't figure out how its wired.

The amp is in the back and they have the wiring running on the drivers side steps up to the front by the door but the wires don't go into the door they go under the steering wheel in like the foot well and it looks like they run up somewhere towards the head unit or maybe the gmos-lan-02 i have connected? neither side has the speaker wire running directly into the door instead there is a gray wrapped set of wires running into it and then connecting to a thing on the drivers side by the fuses like shown in the last pic

please help! i wan't to make good use of the amps and germaniums

sounds as though they went to the head unit and spliced into the factory wiring. i would have gone into the doors. i forgot, does that truck have nasty white molex?

x2, sounds like that tapped into the small factory wiring. NOT a good install, but obviously will work.

You want to bridge the amp to use all 4 channels and wire directly to the xovers and the components in the doors. Then run your rear fill off the HU or get a 2 channel amp for them.

Told ya to head up my way for a good install....LOL

sounds like they are using the factory wiring. it works but is a waste. when did you have it done? if it was recent take it back to the shop and tell them they didnt wire it right and that you want the wires run into the doors.

its all gonna be good i just ordered some more 12 awg and im bi-amping the germs straight through the doors, taking out the rear fill, and i already ran some new Knu rca's....how bout they lost the rca's i gave them to use so they just put cheap *** ones that look like they came off my playstation type

its all good though i am going to fix it now that i know how to and i guess it doesn't really matter cause i never got charged for any of the work i was debating whether to get it installed there in the first place but we know the owner real well and i decided not to say anything about the idiots and bad job they did

funny thing is he knows nothing about car audio hes just got his installers that have been doin this shit for 20 years they know everything //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

From how they wired your car it certainly doesn't sound like they know everything. Tapping into factory wiring at the HU is just lazy, especially for an installer at a shop. If you don't complain they'll just keep doing it crappy like that. Doesn't sound like they know everything to me.
