can anyone recommend some good acoustical guitar cd's?

Any of the MTV unplugged are good to listen to.

Elliott Smith and Damien Rice come to mind. Maybe City and Colour. There is a lot of good acoustical music out there.

If you're digging acoustic work, you're one step away from indie and two steps away from string quartets, so take a look in that direction as well.

You need to listen to Alice n Chains Unplugged. It's one of the best recorded acoustic shows I've ever listened to.
Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds is pretty good as well.
I love that AIC cd - except for some noise it produces on some tracks that kinda sounds like a tweeter is fried. I have had someone else tell me they hear that as well.

Oh well, still very good stuff.

I don't ever think I've had that problem but my system isn't the best by any means. I just know on mine it sounds fabulous.

I just remembered, The eagles have a couple acoustic songs. Like Tequila Sun Rise from the hell freezes over tour. And of course the famous Hotel California. Actually just pick up that cd, it's worth it.

That is actually in my HU right now. It's there a lot.
