Can anyone recommend a 160 gb MP3 player?

Can anyone recommend a 160 GB MP3 player? I could do my own investigating to find one, BESIDES an iPod, but I figure someone may have one or know of a nice one. I understand the iPod has a monopoly on the mp3 situation, and they seem to be the most expensive. I rather find something else that will get the job done that I won't have to pay extra for the name. It looks like the Microsoft Zune's are decent, but they're only available in 80 GB.

I don't need anything fancy. I just want it to plug into my aux output in my car. I can just push the buttons on the player.

I do. I have easily over a thousand CD's, probably close to 2, needless to say I am NOT looking forward to putting them all on computer. And I prefer 320 bit files instead of 128 or whatever you call it. Less compressed files. They take up more room.

but how many of those cd's do you actually listen to on a regular basis?

i suggest you start ripping them to your hard drive. by the time you finish 160gb mp3 players will be the norm

if your using the aux inputs in your car, 128kbps or 160kbps will be fine

but how many of those cd's do you actually listen to on a regular basis?
Apple iPod makes a 160 gig.

And on a daily basis? A few. But I shuffel through them all, all the time. I was a big CD collector when I was a high school kid in the 90's, and was at Best Buy every Tuesday buying one or two new releases. But I always like to take it back to the old school and play something random to remind me of memories past while making memories of new. Or some new CD's, or anything. I am a very random person who will be listening to some old school gangster rap in the car, some modern day heavy metal on the way home, and Mariah Carey "All I Want for Christmas Is You" when I get home.

I think Archos makes something that has 160gb storage. But your gonna want to get that iPod Classic. Its really easy to use and has a good battery.

ya the archos one is $500+

unless you like every single song from every single album you own i dont think anything larger than 80gb would be needed for a portable device unless you want to play movies as well
