Can a waterdamaged headunit be repaired?

So I opened up the headunit and it has some corrosion on it. The unit will not power on at all and had some rain drips drip into it over time because my car leaks a little bit and there was a bad rainstorm last week and it rained for 3 days straight.

It is a custom autosound USA-630 radio and looks like this

Is it doomed?

look for corroded contacts and take 400 grit sand paper to them. And like the man said take a DMM to it. If something got damaged it is probably on the constant dies so i would start there.
