can a DD 3500 12" take 2000 wrms daily?

do you think 2 12"s in a 6^3@35htz box on 2 IA 20.1's would be a good setup. If not what box size/tuning would you recommend. Keep in mind this a daily street beater playing nothing but music

i wouldnt put 2k daily 1500 would be ok. I did mine 1k all day and they wanted more but 2k i wouldnt do it for daily. I believe they make them in whatever impedeance you want them to.

I would be wary about strapping a pair of IA 20.1s @ 1 ohm to a pair of 3500s because that is a lot of power. But Louisiana_CRX says it's okay. You be the judge. I say be very careful - gain the amps down to a safer amount of power.

not strapping...running each one individually...same result in the end i guess....besides in reality they most likely won't see 2000 watts. I run Alpine decks and i never go past 25 and i set the gains pretty conservatively

Then you should be fine.

I run a pair of 3515E's on 2 20.1's strapped at 1.5ohm dialy.

They take it like a champ. (Oh...and burp at .375 strapped)

Try 5cuft w/ that much power though.

Keep the signal clean and you are golden.

What motor?Ds reach excursion around 2500wrms,I personally would keep it under 2k daily.

the Es have longer coils AND more cooling over the Ds each will handle a 2500D easily unclipped....
