Camera help

looking to purchase a new dlsr camera but havent had any experience with any. been reading lots of reviews, but would like to see if any of you have any first hand experience. looking to spend under $1000 (ebay prices) but for a complete set-up and hopefully 2 lenses. models i am currently considering are canon EOS XSi, nikon D60, nikon D5000, pentax k20d. any other suggestions or experience with these?

are the tamron lenses pretty good? just seem to be alot cheaper than the other brands.

You have no choice on your budget. They are fine for what they are, just cheaper glass, no IS and are generally slower lenses. (regarding the budget lenses)

thanks guys, i honestly have no idea when it comes to this, have been doing alot or reading up on them today. gonna go to the camera shop and check them out.
