I am calling these guys out into the DOME!

Why the groans on my post??
McIntoshes have lower noise, use analog signal (ie no digital conversion and much more ture to life sound), and last forever... My grandfather bought a McIntosh indoor amp, preamp, and tuner back in 1965. They all work to this day. Only thing that went out was one of the lights for the tuner, but luckly this does not alter its sound quality.
I would love to hear what you think is incorrect about this statement?
Is it the part about analoge being superiour to digital? And how you have been brainwashed to think digital is better? Digital signal is inherently a compressed signal, a choice must be made on how much information is stored and therefor loss of sound intergity must follow.
Digital compromise? Anyone? or am I alone here.
Just Curious...
