word, that's how i feel, wanna change it up and not have to have a 7 cubic foot box. Just not sure if rockin spl 12's will be an upgrade from two sa 12's considering the loss in cone area

Yeah, you could give them more power but you would lose cone area..

If you ever come around the area when it warms up we can just throw my whole box in your jeep and try it out, I'd be interested in hearing them in a shared cabin anyway.

You chose to ignore me and had Anton Miller, a SPL trunk car competitor, build you an enclosure instead for more than what you were quoted from Brian with shipping. The box does not include carpet, nor was it properly modeled, nor is it really as good as you say it is for daily driving. Sorry, bud, but 7 ohms after box rise isn't normal. That's bad design. Ask around here since the Sundown SAs are quite popular.
Brian and I took time out of our personal lives and time spent enjoying events with family to answer your questions without hesitation, yet you constantly had to fact-check us with your Minnesota Bassheads FB group. If their opinion was the clincher, you honestly shouldn't have been wasting our time. But I'll say it here so others will see and be warned. You owe a lot of people apologies for your inability to learn the bare basics of DIY car audio (which even has its own section on the top bar of this site) and the time you have taken from us which can never be returned. If I were you, I'd ditch Anton Miller and that Minnesota Bassheads group PRONTO because you, sir, got swindled in textbook form and your ignorance is preventing you from acknowledging that fact.

I have set prices i charge for enclosures (finsihed and non finished). im sorry your prices are cheaper. people pay for my name and quality. I honestly dont see how you can say the enclosure was "modeled" wrong. its the perfect alignment for his vehical (and actually most trunks) Im sorry im well known in my area and "stole" buiseness from you. i honestly dont know why your complaining about a few questions hes asked or the 100$ of profit from the box build you could have got (**** must **** to need money that **** bad)

Our bassheads group has a bunch of noobz yes... so does everywhere. but we have a crazy amount of knowledge base there as well. (fun fact members on MN bass heads took home 6 National championships this season out of 15 from MW SPL) Old school knowlegde to new school knowledge all on there.

PS: your acting like carpet is hard to do or that a plain mdf box looks like ***... not many people want to pay for the extra time and materials. thats that bro.

Sounds good man, I been wanting to come up there and kick it, share some greenery and do some demos. That would be bomb though to try em out in my whip, actually see what I'd be buying. what VC configuration are they?

The enclosure build for Darron is Built for MUSIC. if it was SPL i would have done it much different.... just because i compete doesnt mean i dont know how to design for a flat daily build.
