I thought that my buddies car had a 2.2? It was a 2004 WRX. I could be wrong.

The last 2.2 came out in 1999 on the Outback.

Some of the first gen WRX's were 2.0 Turbo,

All of the new one's are 2.5 Turbo

How is that different than the car that the OP posted? Same basic engine. Same ability to lay that much rubber. Different body style but the same at heart.

It's kinda like comparing the WRX to the RS Impreza... But then again, you wouldn't understand.

They have their own characteristics, like weight... weight ratio... suspension... asthetics.

Whenever I get an extra 6- 8 Grand laying around.

Consider the RS an earlier version of the WRX.

Now, consider the Camaro, an earlier version of the camaro posted.

Now, consider that the weights of certain generations are different, as well as suspension and f/r weight ratio... And also how they appear.
