Calling all cerwin vega fanatics

Yes, I will be switching to CV subs today. I have never been so inspired before. Based on your comments and knowledge about them, I can't understand how I have been missing out on the best sub out there. Facts and experiance mean nothing to me anymore. I have seen the light. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/angel.gif.fa7795fff6653f4381ba158c55a48b74.gif

It's a proven fact that DEFENSE's win championships and so far in this thread, Cerwin Vega hasn't had any. So.....................................

I'm stopping there as there is no point going into the 1990's...

I have not experience RE, Adire, and the like, but they have yet to PROVE themselves to me. CV did many years ago (and apparently still are)... I, personally, remember the day CV broke the 160Db barrier (old school style.. not stick the mic up your port hole cheating style you see now-a-days) just goofing off! They were the FIRST, but, since it wasn't in competition, they were not crowned. They did it with 12 subs in a Chevy Astro van powered by Linear Power amps. It is a known fact (to anyone that isnt 20 or below and been in the car audio scene much longer than most of you seem to have been) that the CV/LP combination was absolutely unbeatable. They broke many many records over the years, and I do believe you naysayers are going to see some more of that happening very soon.

One last thing, you have all shown a serious lack of maturity in this thread. Based off everything I have read in the past 20 minutes, I would not ever buy the aformentioned subs because the supports of such are children and obviously know nothign about car audio. If you are truly adults, then act like it. The guy simply asked for CV supporters. None of you knew a **** thing about CV, so none of you had the right to say what you did. It's time to grow up. He doesn't like your subs, get over it. And, for the record, I have owned CV XL-15D subs, SS SPL160 subs, Eclipse Alumin 10's, Eclipse Aluminum 12's, RF Punch 15's (1989-90 flavor), RF Series 1 subs, Old school Infinity 12's, and old school Earthquake 15's (early 90's). I have seen and owned many brands, types, and varying levels of performance and quality of subs. My opinion is not biased, by much, just based on fact.

Bring the fight back to life!!

Look at how old this thread is you idiot.
This is the maturity level I was referring to...

I saw how old the thread was, and I found references that were availble at that time; I.E. nothing "newer" than this thread. I was doing a search for something totally unrelated, and happened upon this thread. I do not own CV subs now, but I have, and from reading this, I couldn't believe the ignorance showed. Therefore, I took it upon myself to help educate these people, should they ever read this again...
