THey told me it would be $375 to upgrade to the new 2006 verison! LMAO! SAid there was nothing they could do about it since they didn't offer repairs, and all they could do was give me the newer version at a "discounted price" after I sent my sub in..

Well this really sux! Every person I have talked to about resoldering the lead says it will probably just break again within a few days... WHat to do, what to do.........

ouch that close can be a PITA if you aren't too cautious. ramos can give more ASSistance than i can.

So you will be loosing about 1 mm of length from the tinsel? If so just solder it back on right there, or you can extend it a little bit if you need to.

Just solder it back to the terminal...It shouldnt break agian unless you do some serious movement with it.

If you are worried it will break, just solder a little length of speaker wire from the terminal to the lead.
