Call of Duty 4 question

Me and my roommates like to play split screen multiplayer (Can't use X box live because i am on school internet and they block xbox live for some reason). But there is not really a great selection of guns in the split screen multiplayer, even though there are a ton more guns in single player mode. Is there a way to get more guns in split screen multiplayer, or did they only include 10% of the game's guns in split screen multiplayer for whatever reason? Gets very boring with everyone running around with the P90 the entire time, definately would nto mind an M4 SopMod.

if its like the online play, you have to get kills( experience points) to create your own weapon kits

takes a while to get to p90 and other guns, even online playing alot

Yeah, ive found it very boring as well, me and my brother/friends play split screen alot, and i havent unlocked shit yet. I cant really play on live because i still get a 1/10 chance of getting connected.
