Bad news 4 you/ You can't go to SoCal on the cheap unless you know somebody and have a placew to stay. Inland 10 miles from the beach, Motel 6 is about $65-70/night. Fun places to party are Main St. in Huntington Beach and Newport Beach. Both places are real fun and real safe. PM me if you want specifics.
