Calculating Ohms?

If you have two subs with each having 4 ohms and dual voice coils, how do I determine how many ohms my amp needs to be running at.

Is it just according to the way I wire it or what?

you've got a few choices 16 ohms=no good in car audio....4 ohms or 1 ohm. those are your choices for dvc 4 ohm pair of subs
