Cadillac SRX DVD Player Wiring

I've started working on the interior of my project truck and decided to do something a bit different. Instead of building a custom console I picked up a console from an '05 Cadillac SRX. I comes from the factory with a Panasonic DVD player and screen. Unfortunatly I don't have a wiring diagram. No standard connections like RCA's. It's all standard GM wiring.

Just wondering if anyone has dealt with these before. Ideally I'd like to be able to hook it up to my AUX in on my Kenwood DDX-6019 (RCA video).

Thanks in advance guys. I'll be sure to post pics when/if I get it working.

I've asked around and everyone has told me that the factory GM entertainment packages are all digital and won't work with any other products. I've been wanting to add a 2nd screen to mine for a while now.

There was a post from a guy on a Cadillac forum about him adding 2 headrest monitors running off the center console DVD player. Unfortunatly it was posted over 2 years ago and his pics aren't coming up any more. I figure "how complicated could GM make it? It's a 12v DVD player with a screen. Seems like all I'd need would be power, ground, video and audio out.

Im a lil loopy on pain killers, but i may be able to help ya a bit. I install GM accesories (like the dvd players) for a living. I know that the headrest dvd's only had rca inputs on the face of them, and the rest of the connections are 2 little 4 pin connectors for each monitor, that plugged into a black box. Each unit was its own seperate dvd player (although the master unit could control both) and then power from the black box was tapped in (in the SRX it is a PITA, almost all other GM dvd players have a plug designated for them under the dash for power) Ive never done one of the center console ones, so im not really a help there, but id look for a black box and see if you can find that.

If ya got any more questions, i'll try to help more once my pain killers wear off

Thanks man. Any help is appreciated. I'm still having a b*tch of a time trying to get the DVD player out of the console. Might have a chance to work on it later tonight once I get some more Xmas shopping done.

Mine is a roof flip down in an '06 Yukon. I'm wanting to run a video signal from the factory dvd to an extra screen in the passenger visor. Can you help me out with where and how exactly to tap into the video signal?
