These specs are exactly what im looking for. Anybody used these? and why are they so cheap now? i remember when they were about $200 a piece a few years ago. Anybody used them?

i have wanted to buy this myself but everytime i have asked about them on a forum everyone says how shitty cadence are. heres my only experience...

i used to be good friends with a dude in highschool that was really the only dude who messed with car audio at our school. he didnt know much and just had fun with stuff he could buy at best buy. last year i started taking college classes again at night and he was in one of my classes. so we started talking and CA came up. so as we used to do in school, after class we went out side to look at his shit. he got this 12 from a local place buy us thats shop copmpetes with cadence. it was a few years old so they game him the driver for nothing. he said like 100 bucks.

now mind you this was at 10 at night when class gets out, tis dark as ****. he turns on some eminem and im standing next to his car and my head is hurting from the bass. alll i could see was an orange basket and mesh around the magnet EXACTLY like the wild beasts. he showes me the amp and said how he was operating the driver at only 50% RMS because he couldnt afford a good amp. the amp was mayne 10 inches by 8 inches in size. really small so im sure it was shitty.

he ended up cracking the one side of the spoiler of on the grand prix a few nights before from the bass

a few monthes later after that class was over i tried finding what driver it was and the WB was the ONLY cadence driver that was orange and had chrome mesh around the magnet.

i still cant belive that that was the driver i herd. it was insanly loud for one ported 12.

so im in the same boat as both of you. i want to try like 4 tens under the seats in my truck but im afraid there going to **** ***. but for like 200 bucks for 4 10s its worth a shot. i think im going to just buy em and try it.

thats probably one of the loudest i have herd up that close.

obviously not even close... but you talking about 4 15s that have a jilion SPL wins under its name or a single VC sub from 2002. all i know is a 12 half powered that will crack you spoiler off of a new car(06) is not too **** bad.

im not saying its a good driver, all im saying is if thats the sub i herd, the WB, then it hit **** hard for what you can get em for on ebay...

They're actually decent, not the best by any means, but I'd buy some at that price, and use them. I got to hear one locally just at a local street scene. I'd say that they got louder, while ported, than my old Hifonics HF12D4's sealed. Not a very strong low end response, but the guy that had them didn't seem he knew what he was talking about, and had them in some cheap prefab for a different set of speakers.

just to let anyone who cares know, i just bought a pair of tens from the same guy in the link above, and i used the best offer thing and he accepted my 50 dollar bid in like 2 minutes. After their weak "hyper shipping" the total was 99.99 for 2 tens- figured i would try them out.

I have bought from the company before.. 4 ultra linear tens for 70 bucks shipped lol.. subs are weaker than shit, but for 70 bucks.. ive already made my money back on one pair.. but the company is good at least, whether or not they **** you on shipping, its not a bad deal for what they are selling these days.. MA audio, and Cadence, etc.. for less than 100 bucks shipped for a lot of pairs, and 2 pairs of subs.. resale value is insance, and quality is alright for the price.. Post a review on those wild beasts..

yea i will when i receive them- and yea that company the deep discount was the most professional company i have ever bought anything from on ebay. I had tracking today, bought yesterday, a surety bond from their insurance sent to me, and a bunch of other stuff.
