I ran the CDT EF's (but not the carbon fiber) for over two years. Never had a problem with them and I thought they were a very decent set. Never noticed any distortion whatsoever and never had any problems. I thought the mid range was good. The mid bass was lacking, but it is hard for me to say how much of that wasthe result of my prioor deadening job since I never tried them again after I really did some work there.

Never heard the Cadence.

I have the Es Drivers with 560 crossovers and man does it sound good

I can turn it up pretty loud without any thing close to distortion coming though

I had a set of infinity ref before and they would break up on some higher freq but the CDTs play it loud and clear

Ive also bought the cheap CDT sets ($300 and under) and they are ok but nothing compared to the higher lines
