Cadence txa300.4 ANY GOOD???

Txa's are nice amps. I've owned a txa-1000 and a 3004. Both were very solid. If you get one make sure to get the full heatsinked one as the short fin has a history of problems.

It does rated and some. The TXA series is their middle line up models, but they are still good.
i have the txa installed in my truck now and it does more than rated power. Its a good amp
One of Cadence's reps admitted to me on CAF the txa a/b's are slightly over-rated. At 4 ohms they're close enough to call accurately rated, but definitely not under-rated. He chose not to comment on minimum impedance power, my guess is quite a bit less than rated.

Seem like a lot of amp at the price though. I've considered picking one up more than once.

Any bench tests to back it up? If not there are plenty that prove they are under rated.

I liked my TXA600.4 but made the mistake of mounting it on the back of a prefab box and something rattled lose in it. Instead of fixing it I just used it as an excuse to upgrade.
