Cadence TXA-6004 Help! Is It Blown?

Soooo my cadence went into protect last night on the way home. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif When i went to look at the amp i noticed the battery connection was pretty loose. I tightened the connection but now when i turn the amp on it plays for half a sec then just goes into protect. Is it blown or was the loose connection not the issue?

Check every connection on it and every connection to the car. That's where I'd start.

wow...jus checked the grounds and they were loose at the batt.....works fine now....i feel stupid....thanks for the help

it's always the ground or batt cables
