CABLE jack -> projector. I wanna watch TV @ 100+". What do i need

Im my home audio room. Ive got a Optoma HD65 projector that I use for my xbox to play games and watch movies.

But I use another tv in the room for regular cable, I dont have a cable box or anything, just straight cable plug in the wall to the back of the tv, so I obviously cant just run a cable from the wall to the projector. My friend says he thinks a VCR will work somehow.

Does anyone know how I can make this work??

I have a Kenwood Ka-45 reciever that I use for the audio, it has an AUX/Phono/CD rca inputs....

You will need to plug your vcr into that cable jack, then , hopefully, you have a yellow, red and white outputs. Plug yellow into Projector and red and white into Kenwood reciever. If its being streamed , it might be better thru your puter.

I dont have a vcr is the problem, and Ive never had one that had the cable jack on the back. But they do make them like that?? So Id just need to buy a 10' cable, go from the wall jack to the back of the vcr. Then hook a cable to the red/white/yellow from the vcr, the red and white going to the kenwood, and the yellow to the projector.

I dont even know if its worth it to get cable on the projector... waste alot of hours of the bulb life...

Or they have a little longer one with an audio jack with it aswell, could run the pc's audio to the aux on the kenwood...

Yes it's just a regular VGA. But it would look much better through HDMI.

As for that second cable you wouldn't need that. You would need that first one (regular VGA) and something like this
