CAB amp clamp since everyone like the Rockville one so much HA

I figured since everyone liked the rockville test so much HA I should start a separate thread for the cab. So just like the rockville it was done at 35hz on two sundown sa8-v3's. The amp gains were set with no clipping. My results at 14 volts were 1076 watts. With box rise the impedance at 35hz was 2.41. In comparison the rockville was 611 watts with a box rise of 2.36.

My disclaimer is I am not offering up "certified" numbers I am offering the numbers I got with my setup. So with my setup my 130 dollar amp made 611 watts with an impedance of 2.36. My 200 dollar amp made 1000 watts with a box rise of 2.41.

the cab has been tested on an amp dyno a few time

thats why people are more interested in the rockville if it wasnt tested previously clamp numbers are better than no numbers

Yup I bought the amp based off of what I saw people dyno it at. I bought the rockville off of what I saw another model rockville dyno at. I also have not seen that cab tested at 2 ohm which is closer to what I was. I was interested to see what they actually did with my setup and it might be neat for people to see what numbers they could really expect after box rise and all that.

sorry for the question but does box rise, in this case, mean the cab did 1076w at a little under 2.5ohms???
