I needed to find a place to host the vid I shot of my carputer, and I decided to post it on ROE. Shaun (I think that was his name) sent me an email after I submitted it and seemed like a really cool guy, asked me some ?'s about the carputer and such.

That's my experience with ROE.

I haven't frequented roe since shon fell off the face of the planet, didn't get my shirt out, ampguts stopped being updated, etc. Finally got my refund for the shirt I paid for a while back

I sent over 4 us amps guts pics that they didn't have any of and it never got updated....oh well.

Yeah, shon seemingly vanished. I frequented ROE a while back(over a year ago) and then stopped using that forum. A few months ago I joined again. Now SSA has joined in with ROE to help with shon's absence. Not that it changes any of your opinions but ROE could be on an upswing with SSA's help. I think to do that there would need to be a serious shift in the moderation staff. Not saying they need to be replaced but rather need to handle things a little better.

ROE is going through some "spring cleaning" at the moment, putting threads where they belong, getting rid of troublesum members, and eventually when we get admin rights, getting rid of alot of sub-forums. Trying to make that place much more user-friendly. Look out for good things over there in the near future.
