it means Iv put more time and money in to my front stage with dynaudio speakers
then buying 2000wrms sub amp and 2 18"s

Gotcha...never understood why people place so much concern on a speaker that plays 20-63 (give or take) anyway.

Imagine that-- putting your focus where it counts. It is amazing how much more money is typically spent on 20-50hz. Of course it is easy to do.

I agree, but it is easy to do when you consider the cost of the actual driver, the box, the amps, the amp kit. Of course there is also the cost of upgrading the electrical on your car. Makes spending $600plus on your components seem like a bargain in comparison.

Which is why on my next install, I'll probably forgo the subs...

I have dream/plan of 3way active frontstage and that's it. I am getting into more piano/sax jazz and the podcasts on a variety of subjects. None of it doesn't seem like it extends much lower than 40 Hz anyway. Why lose the room when the material I play doesn't go that low
