FINALLY.... a real sports thread here on CADOTCOM! should be some good games today! the first round is the best with all the action going on! might be some surprises ( B's and Habs ). i went to Game 5 in San Jose... great game!

I see the Red Wings winning the series against Colorado in 6 or less and going on to win the Cup. It's been a while since they've won the cup (2002) and not many on this team were in Detroit then so they're ALL hungry after last year's disappointing and narrow loss to Anaheim in the Western finals. They're playing with MORE energy and with the talent they have they should do it.

**** right go Ozzie. What in the holy hell was Hitchcock thinking starting Hasek anyway?? Ozzie was wayyyyy better in the regular season and he starts Hasek in the opening round?? This coach doesn't have forever to win a cup in Detroit. The Red Wings organization will find another coach if they have to.

Now with Ozzie between the pipes playing his best hockey of his career we just might have a chance to hoist the cup again. And it's about time, it's been 6 years.
