bxi1606d or bxi1206d??

I know hifonics exaggerates their specs so i was wondering which would be the better amps to power my 2 12" L7's. I want about 1000 watts rms to each. Which of these is going to give me the closest to that???

ike sound has a bx1800 for 250 plus ship... but the 1606 is only 1600 rms and thats 800 rms per 12" if that amp pushes what its rated at..

Well if you got the electrical id go with 2 hifonics 1606d's. They'll give you about 1300 rms per sub and that should be pretty good for those L7's

If your talking about BXI1606D, 1300 on each sub thats 300watts overrated(1ohm). What about BX1605D?? Does it do what is stated??

if the bxi1606 doesn't do rated power, what makes you think the 1605 does?

you have to REALIZE that NOBODY has put an authentic paper about the watts it puts out on this forum yet. Some will tell you it does rated power, while others will tell you they won't!

for the cost of 2 mediocre amps why dont you consider 1 good one? 2500d used = $400 and 2500 wrms @ 1 ohm?

Im not being ironic to be honest I have never heard neither of them but dont know which to buy. So as many people on this site actually have the amp why dont they test it and save alot of people the trouble???

and it is more like 1500watt actual power @ 1ohm on the 1606d I think its the 2006d o something that is rated @ 2000 and does about 1800 @ 1 ohm actual

I would if I had the right equipment. you need a true rms clamp right?

I have a 1605d and it more like 1450-1500 actual depending on voltage.

1605D is a older model than 1606D right? Do you think 1606D will do its rated?
