Hey there people I was having trouble with the power lines for this amp Hifonics BX1500D, its says that they accept 4 gauge wire for the batt and ground. And i did research and it says that 4 gauge wiring kits are around 1400 watts max, so I was wondering since the amp puts out 1500 watts RMS at 1 ohm and it only accepts 4 gauge how will I get the maximum power out of this? Thanks for all you inputs. Joe B.

Yea.... I don't think those wattage they advertise really mean anything cause i've seen 8 gauge amp kits that advertise 2000 watts... so don't believe everything you see. Legacy amplifiers for example they overrate their amps and some brands underrate them for some reason or another.

I would run 0 ga(from the battery) to a dist block then 4 ga to the amp.Just make sure u ground with the 0 ga as well.U might want to get a grounding block to avoid any headaches.
