Buzzing Noise?

Ok this is wierd, I just did an upgrade in my Chevy s10 pickup, Previous stereo worked flawless. I installed a Clarion DB365USB With all existing setup and wires from previos install. Previous install was a pro install using battery as ground ect ect.

Here is the mystery.... When i play the FM band the stereo is clear, no static, not a noise. When i play a CD or USB MP3 i hear a buzzing noise through the speakers. I can turn up the volume and the noise does not increase, but gets covered up. If i rev the truck it does not change pitch or volume, when the truck is off and in acc. it still makes the noise... I have read previous posts and see nothin simular. Anyone else have this happen?

Ok, no takers on this issue? I know there are pro's out there that wanna speak up please? hehe //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

K, I'm not suer what to do here. I have read other posts and don't see my same issue. Any advice as to where to start looking maybe? I'm kinda new to this stuff and lost in the woods haha.

Your issue is unique, and in saying so, I'd have to point at the fact of it being the actual unit itself.

Reason being is that a ground issue is ruled out by a NON-increasing pitch relative to engine RPM.

Plus, it only occurrs after you installed the unit into your already fine working vehicle. If you put the old unit back in, and it doesn't do it, it will be your particular Clarion causing the issue.
